Guest Rooms

Our three guest bedrooms are newly decorated and furnished to a high standard with  new Sealy beds, down duvets and luxurious Pima cotton bed linen to help you to get a good night’s rest.

In your room you will find a hairdryer, radio alarm clock and a morning tray with a choice of tea or fresh coffee and mineral water.

Our en suite shower rooms and bathroom have power showers to give an invigorating start to your day and are fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap, shower caps and fluffy white towels. Blankets and non-allergenic pillows can be requested in advance.

All rooms have wireless internet access and one off road parking space is available for each room.

Rose - first floor king size double with en suite shower room

The Rose Room is definitely the jewel in the crown of Field View. The perfect choice for a romantic weekend or a week’s stay, it is light, airy and spacious. It is the largest of our three rooms and overlooks our beautiful garden, across the fields to the South Downs and Slindon folly.  We have provided everything for your comfort – a five-foot double bed, a dressing table/desk with mirror, a large built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, two comfortable chairs and a TV.  A delicious breakfast is included in the price.  Prices range from £70 - £95 depending on the season; single occupancy is from £65.

Iris - Ground floor king size double with en suite shower room

Decorated in warm colours, this charming and welcoming room is on the ground floor. It faces South West with views across a field towards the village church. We have provided everything for your comfort - a five-foot double bed, a dressing table/desk with mirror, chair and built-in wardrobe. Iris is a good choice if you find stairs difficult or you are travelling on business. A delicious breakfast is included in the price.  Prices range from £65 - £85 depending on the season; single occupancy is from £45.

Wisteria – first floor super king double/twin with private bathroom

In this spacious room, which is decorated in cool, calm colours, you have the option of a six-foot double bed or twin beds. We have provided everything for your comfort a large built-in wardrobe, a chest of drawers with a mirror, two chairs and a TV. The room faces South West with views across a field towards the village church. The private bathroom has a power shower over the bath. Bathrobes are provided. A delicious breakfast is included in the price.  Prices range from £60 - £75 depending on the season; single occupancy is from £35.

Guest sitting room

Our large and elegant guest sitting room, where breakfast is served, catches the morning sunshine and overlooks the garden.  It has two comfortable sofas, an extensive collection of books, a TV, a DVD player and a wood-burning stove for cosy winter evenings. French doors lead onto the terrace where breakfast can also be served, weather permitting.

Garden

Field View has a large and beautiful ¾ acre garden, backing onto fields with views across to the South Downs. It is a tranquil place to relax after a day’s sightseeing or walking. You can enjoy a cup of tea, read or let your thoughts wander while you sit in the sunshine or under the shade of the apple trees in our old orchard.
